The Building Industry Association of Clark County is pleased to announce the winners of the 2005 Parade of Homes Industry and People’s Choice Awards. This summer, a record 3,400 people turned in their ballots at the Parade, presented by Lumbermens to vote for their favorite houses.

BIA president Jerry Clark was pleased with the response. “Under the generous sponsorship of First Horizon Home Loans, we were able to increase voter turnout by 75% over the previous year.”

Industry Choice awards were voted on by a select group of building industry experts during the August 16th Industry Night event. People’s Choice awards were voted on throughout the Parade by attendees. The following is a list of the award winners:

Strong public appeal for this year’s homes was evident not only in the voter turnout, but a precedent was also set in the sale of all nine homes by the end of the show. This year’s Parade of Homes was held August 19th through September 5th at River View Terrace in Washougal.
