What did you think of this week's PubTalk speakers?
If you attended Wednesday's PubTalk meeting you heard pitches from three entrepreneurs just getting started. What did you think of their ideas? What worked and didn't work?
All three speakers, ShapingEnvironments.com, REDpoint (redpointcorp.com) and Oasis Diagnostics (4saliva.com), gave great pitches. It really shows the power of businesses in Southwest Washington.
Hats off to the sponsors Landerholm Law Firm (landerholm.com) and Eric Fuller & Assoc. (ericfullerinc.com)
The thing I love about OEN events (and I'll now extend that to the SW Washington PubTalks) are the caliber of people in the room. I always meet someone new and interesting to speak to and the presentations are outstanding.
I was impressed with all the presenters - I truly loved the ShapingEnvironments.com presentation but felt like perhaps there should've been different categories for entrants. It seemed like the other two businesses were already in business and on a much larger scale (although all 3 were seeking funding).
Questions from the audience members were also fantastic.
I thought the speakers did a great job (sorry about the microphone)...and heard more positive comments from participants than ever before. The energy in the room was palpable. Thanks to all who pitched in!
I LOVED IT. Now I want to start my own business too!!
What a great turnout! It speaks to the success of the event and the caliber of the people who come when so many stay afterwards just to engage in some interesting conversations. Looking forward to the next one!
