though not a fan of don benton's right wing positions, i do support his position (and scold the columbian) on the I-5 bridge fiasco. The I-5 bridge replacement project has devoured millions of dollars with nothing to show. And it it has turned into a primadonna propelled bureaucracy.

I've never seen Don Benton at the I-5 replacement project meetings last two years. Him saying anything about the bridge is nothing but a farce. He is a disgrace to the republican party and our community. He racks up huge campaign donations from special interests, and as far as I know, that's the only thing he is good at. We need someone better than that to represent us. Sounds like David Carrier is a whole lot better candidate to me.

The people of the 17th aren't that bright they keep sending Jim Dunn into office. I've thrown out garbage with more positive aspects than he has.

I have met both Deb Wallace and Michele Doan. Both are very smart and interesting women. Both are qualified. The main difference between the two is, Wallace is part of the problem and Doan is part of the solution. The Columbian's endorsement of Wallace is to be expected. Any candidate with a "D" after their name is automatically endorsed by this biased publication.

Clark county republicans should field better candidates. It's been ridiculous.

I'd like Carrier better if he wasn't a Dem. Between Chrissy and other Dems, this state has ****** millions of $$ on "committees" and "groups" whose jobs have been to "investigate" and "mull over" everything. If some of those ****** millions had been put toward a new third bridge, we would almost have the traffic congestion licked by now, among others issues that Chrissy and the Dems have "mulled over"..
