Casino developer steps up with robocalls, too

Monday, November 3 | 12:49 p.m.

MICHAEL ANDERSEN

Casino developer David Barnett is dumping yet more cash into the Mielke-Brokaw commissioner race -- this time for a round of last-minute robocalls.

On Friday, while we were reporting the $59,000 his company had spent on independent anti-Mielke mailers, his company dropped another $17,500 to call voters. And play some sort of negative recording about Mielke.

Again, if you've gotten one of these calls, we'd love to know what it said, to determine whether or not it's true.
