A few weeks ago, we needled the Clark County Association of Realtors for endorsing the shoo-in candidates from both parties.
Turns out they've got nothing on Washougal Mayor Stacee Sellers.
If you've been wondering -- as we have -- why both Marc Boldt (R-Hockinson) and Jeanne Harris (D-Vancouver) were both claiming Sellers's endorsement, it's because Sellers endorsed both candidates in the two-person race for county commissioner.
Or, as she put it in an email forwarded by the Harris campaign, she "co-endorsed."
(Sellers hasn't been available for comment since Friday, in part because of a minor auto accident. We wish her a speedy recovery.)
Washougal lies entirely within the second commissioner district, and Sellers is a well-liked up-and-comer, so her opinion means something. It's too bad she didn't see fit to make the choice that every other voter had to.
