Speeding was the cause of the accident, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Mandi C. Dominguez, 18, complained of neck and back pain and was taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center, where she was treated and released, a nursing supervisor said.

Dominguez had been southbound on 164th Avenue, and the accident occurred at 11:40 a.m. on a westbound onramp. Her 2001 Ford Taurus was totaled, according to the state patrol.

Sweany was booked into the jail on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Assisting with the arrest was the interagency Career Criminal Apprehension Team. Detectives with the team had learned where Sweany was staying, the bulletin said.

The other alleged robber, Matthew J. Johansen, 33, was arrested late Saturday on state Highway 14 in Fisher’s Landing. Deputy Mike Adkins had learned warrants had been issued for Johansen’s arrest and followed him as he drove from his home in Washougal, the bulletin said. Johansen had marijuana and a loaded .38-caliber pistol with him, the bulletin said.
