The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the Washington state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.
In September, the Massage Therapy Program denied the application of Dmitri V. Vilenski. He was convicted of malicious mischief on more than one occasion, burglary on more than one occasion, criminal trespass, and vehicle prowling.
In September, the Nursing Commission modified an order and indefinitely suspended the license of registered nurse Kaylene Paetow Powell. Her license was suspended in 2003 and placed on probation in March 2008.
In October, the Massage Program indefinitely suspended the credential of Gerald G. Clausen. Clausen failed to comply with previous terms set against his credential.
In October, the Board of Pharmacy charged pharmacy assistant Judy Melgoza with unprofessional conduct. She allegedly diverted drugs for her own use and stole more than $4,000 worth of drugs and merchandise from her place of employment.
