Police warn public about dangerous drugs

Wednesday, December 3 | 2:20 p.m.

Pills stolen in a Monday pharmacy robbery are missing and could be dangerous, Vancouver police are warning.

The pills were taken during a 1:55 p.m. robbery at the Riverstone QFC, 3505 S.E. 192nd Ave. A suspect was arrested a few minutes later after a police chase.

Still missing are 200 doses of 30 milligram Oxycodone tablets.

Vancouver Police want to alert the community that these prescription drugs may have been discarded by the suspect just after the robbery, and they could be extremely dangerous if misused by someone who finds them.

The Oxycodone tablets are manufactured my Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. They are circular tablets that are light blue in color. They are scored on one side with the number "30" above the scoring. The opposite side of the tablet has an "M" enclosed in a square.

The tablets were stored in two opaque white plastic prescription bottles. The bottles have a blue label, with "30 mg Oxycodone" on the label.

Police say it is likely that they were discarded in the area of Southeast 164th Avenue and 34th Street, possibly near the Heritage Green Apartment complex or the C-Tran Fisher's Landing Transit Center.

Anyone who has information regarding this robbery or these missing pharmaceuticals is asked to contact Vancouver Police.
