A driver and her passenger were injured early Saturday in a crash in the Brush Prairie area, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The crash was reported at 1 a.m. in the 17500 block of Northeast 142nd Avenue. The driver, Shastina M. Lapping, 24, of Battle Ground was driving north when she lost control of the car on a curve, went off the road and flipped, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Lapping and her unidentified passenger were transported to Southwest Washington Medical Center. The passenger was in serious condition Saturday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Both people’s conditions were unavailable late Saturday.
Speed and alcohol were believed to be factors, the press release said.

'Speed and alcohol were believed to be factors'. It's a good think Lapping flipped her car off the road in a one-car incident (I refuse to call it an accident) before she killed innocent people in a car not involved with speeding and alcohol. The world would be a better place if all the drunks on the road would be involved in one-car incidents before making it far enough to hurt innocent people.
