Evergreen, Hockinson students to be honored

The Evergreen and Hockinson school districts will honor their high school academic superstars the evening of May 28 at Union High School.

A jointly hosted Evening of Excellence will showcase more than 100 top academic performers in the two districts.

High school students to be recognized include National Merit Scholars and Scholar finalists, Advanced Placement Scholars and all state, national and international competitors who finished in the top five.

Mountain View High School’s jazz band will perform, and free refreshments will be available at a pre-event reception.

The celebration starts at 6 p.m. at Union High, 6201 N.W. Friberg-Strunk St. in Camas.
