Castle Rock man out of jail on bond disappears

Friday, May 22 | 1:00 p.m.

Police and bounty hunters are looking for a Castle Rock man who disappeared while free on bond after a manslaughter conviction.

A Cowlitz County Superior Court judge issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for 26-year-old Benjamin Shane Pingle. His family hasn't seen him since May 8.

The Daily News of Longview reports he was convicted of killing his infant daughter last May and sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison. He was allowed to remain free on a $250,000 bond while he appealed.
