Mike Stromme, who heads instructional services at the Educational Service District 112, will be the interim superintendent of the Green Mountain School in north Clark County next year. He will continue to work half time in his current position at the ESD.
Green Mountain, a rural school that serves 122 students, lost its current superintendent, Mike Grubbs, when he was tapped last month as superintendent for the Hockinson School District.
Stromme previously worked for Vancouver Public Schools as chief of secondary education and, for seven years, as the principal of Columbia River High School.
