A Camas man was arrested in Oregon on Tuesday morning after a monthlong investigation of alleged sex crimes against a young girl in McMinnville, Ore.
Terry Allen Westfall, 49, was arrested on suspicion of 10 counts of first-degree sex abuse and two counts of first-degree sodomy, according to a bulletin from the McMinnville Police Department.
Tigard police helped McMinnville detectives with the arrest.
Tuesday night, Westfall was being held in the Yamhill County Correctional Facility on bail totaling $1.8 million, a jail employee said.
The bulletin said the crimes began about 1998, when the girl was younger than 12, and continued for several years.
Westfall is a delivery driver for a Tigard company and lists two home addresses, one in Camas and one in Amity, Ore., police said.
Detectives believe the suspect has victimized others. Those with information are asked to call Detective Sherry McCuistion at 503-434-2340.
