Perman is 4th candidate for seat on Camas-Washougal port board

Camas resident Gary Perman has announced his candidacy for the Port of Camas-Washougal's District No. 1 seat on the three-member board of commissioners.

Perman, 48, is president of Perman Techincal Search Group, a Camas business that recruits employees for telecom firms in the region. He is one of four candidates running for the four-year term. Others are Jim Carroll, incumbent; Mark Lampton, of Washougal; and Craig Tyler, of Camas.

A primary election will take place in September to narrow the field to two candidates. Election for the seat will be in November.
