The Vancouver Volcanoes got a boost Saturday at the expense of the Snohomish County Explosion.
Five Volcanoes players scored in double figures as Vancouver posted a 124-120 International Basketball League win at the Monroe Sports Arena.
It was Vancouver’s first road win of its five-game trek, and Snohomish's fourth consecutive loss. The Volcanoes were edged out 114-113 on Friday to the Oregon Wave in Beaverton.
Against Snohomish, Alex Hartman led Vancouver (13-6) in scoring with 26 points. Josh Jackson, Kevin Tyner and Porter Troupe each scored 20 points.
Tyner added 11 assists, and Bryson McKenzie had a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds.
Vancouver is scheduled to play at Central Oregon on Tuesday and return home to Clark College for the final weekend of its regular season, June 27-28.
