Volcanoes defeat Hotshots

The Vancouver Volcanoes completed their five-game road trip with a 91-86 International Basketball League victory over the Central Oregon Hotshots on Tuesday.

Alex Hartman scored 17 points to lead the Volcanoes (14-6).

Clifford White and Bryson McKenzie each had 15 points, Jake Carlisle added 12 points and nine rebounds, and Porter Troupe scored 10 points. Kevin Tyner dished out 10 assists.

The Volcanoes close out the regular season this weekend with a pair of home games at Clark College’s O’Connell Center.

Vancouver hosts the Vancouver, B.C. Titans at 7 p.m. Saturday, and the Holland (Mich.) Blast at 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission to both games are free, and donations are accepted at the door.
