Police are searching for a man who robbed a Salmon Creek bank this morning.

At about 9:45 a.m., the unknown suspect entered the U.S. Bank, 13001, N.E. Highway 99, and presented a demand note to a clerk, said Clark County sheriff's Sgt. Scott Schanaker.

The bandit escaped in an unknown direction. The sheriff's office brought in a tracking dog, but was unable to find him.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark beanie hat, tinted glasses and a black sweatshirt. He had frizzy light hair, appeared in his 20s to 40s and weighed between 170 to 185 lbs.

Anyone with information should call 911.
