70 more students will receive job training

The In-Demand Scholars program at the Washington Workforce Association has received $383,187 to train 70 high school students in fields such as health care, aerospace manufacturing and information technology.

Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., worked to create the In-Demand program in 2004 to match students to industries with labor shortages.
