The Vancouver Farmers Market is adding a third day to its weekly operations. A Friday night market will operate from 5 to 9 p.m. starting today.
Organizers say customers should expect to find many of the market’s weekend vendors offering a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, prepared foods and baked goods, plants and flowers, as well as local artists’ work and music.
At 8:45 tonight and July 17, the community is invited to attend Movies at Esther Short Park.
Market hours are unchanged Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Nov. 1. The market begins at the corner of Eighth and Esther streets in downtown Vancouver.

What a great idea! This will blend well with the First Fridays, offering even more options for local shopping.
