Clark County health-worker report

The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.
In March, the Registered Counselor Program charged registered counselor applicant Tamra M. Walker with unprofessional conduct. She was convicted of two counts of assault and a protection order violation-domestic violence.
In March, the Registered Counselor Program denied the application of registered counselor applicant Tana M. Freeman. She was convicted of assault-domestic violence and violation of a domestic violence order. She cannot reapply for three years.
In March, the Nursing Commission reinstated the license of registered nurse Kaylene Paetow Powell and placed her license on probation. She must comply with terms and conditions set against her license.
