Ellen Morgan has joined First Independent Bank as vice president and business brand manager in the marketing department. Morgan will be responsible for coordinating brand and marketing functions in support of commercial and community banking and wealth management.

John Cameron has been promoted to investment advisory and brokerage services manager for First Independent Bank. Cameron will provide services for private banking clients and oversee a team of financial advisers.

Randy Scheel has been elected to a two-year term on the board of directors for the Washington Health Care Association, which represents 400 assisted-living and skilled-nursing facilities in Washington. Scheel is the associate administrator of Fort Vancouver Convalescent Center and administrator and co-owner of Caretique Inc.

Terry Goodman has joined Hopper Dennis Jellison, headquartered in Vancouver, as the director of a new land surveying section. Hopper Dennis also offers civil engineering, land use planning and landscape architectural services.

Michael Cochran has been promoted to head the commercial lending activity department at Bank of Clark County. Cochran will manage the bank’s lending team dedicated to business lending and commercial real estate.

State Sen. Craig Pridemore, D-Vancouver, has been elected to the board of trustees for Columbia River Mental Health Services, a professional mental health service agency in Vancouver. Pridemore previously served as the agency’s interim executive director from June to December 2007.
