Jaime Herrera Beutler's Prop. 1 statement
U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, made a statement on Proposition 1 on Monday. The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce emailed her office to criticize her stand on the ballot measure. Proposition 1 would increase sales tax to pay for operating a light rail extension from Portland to Vancouver as part of the $3.5 billion Columbia River Crossing project
