Couvapalooza Music Fest

Couvapalooza Music Fest to Benefit Local School Music Programs, August 18th, 11AM-10PM, Esther Short Park, Vancouver

Two local financial services businesses have formed a charitable arm, VistaRocks4Charity LLC, to organize a full-day music festival to raise money for local school music programs. So far, the entire event is being funded out-of-pocket, with 100% of ticket sales going directly to Clark County School Music Programs.

$15Advance, $18Gate, $30VIP (includes chair, VIP lines & SWAG Bag), Kids 12 & under are free with paying adult. Advance ticket holders have priority entrance into park & are entered to WIN 2 tickets to a Media Party with the bands (must be 21+ to win)!

A Sell-out event = $90,000+ for the schools!

The event is all-ages and will include fun & engaging activities for both adults and kids.

A special menu is being developed by a local restaraunt, in conjunction with a celebrity guest chef.

Northwest Battle Buddies (newly formed charity that rescues & trains dogs as Certified Companion Animals for disabled Vets with depression or PTSD) is hosting the Beer & Wine Garden; which will generate start-up funding.

The lineup of 13 bands includes locals & bands from all over the country, as well as one from Vancouver, BC. Many of the bands were hand-selected from those that Vista Financial Planning Group had the opportunity to hear and meet at Austin's internation music fest, SXSW.

The lineup will range from acoustic jazz/blues to eclectic indie rock, electropop, alternative rock & rock.

With Vista's vision and the support of the bands, who have volunteered their time & talents; they hope to make this an annual event that continues to grow, brings emerging talent to the area, as well as financial support to keep kids & music together.
