What kinds of pots, pans, equipment and knives should you buy and what do you need in a beginning kitchen? We’ll do a “Show & Tell” of all kinds of equipment and how it is used, with lots of time for questions & answers in a fun and humorous format. After the basics, create your own Five Year Wish List of items you will be building on in time. We’ll guide you as you practice very beginning level cutting and slicing knife skills, making salads with our cut up veggies and meat: Chef Salad and German Potato Salad and Old Fashioned Potato Salad.
