At this event volunteers will be working to remove the invasive plant, English Ivy, from the trees in the forested area of Bosco Farm Park. The park is located just off of St. Johns Boulevard on 39th Street (see link to map on registration form). There is no parking lot for the park, but there is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Carpooling is encouraged. Meet at the 39th Street entrance.
You should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and other weather-appropriate clothing and bring water to drink. If you have gloves and tools (metal rakes, rock rakes, hand pruners, loppers, small hand saws) please bring them.
If under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be signed and brought to the event. The form is available here: www.parkhero.org/PDF/minorconsent.pdf.
