When: Thursday, October 11th, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 7:45 pm
Who is this for: This is FREE and open to the public. The event is intended for parents and caregivers of children and adults on the Autism Spectrum or with other special needs. It is open to educators, care providers and anybody that has a passion to discuss or learn more about how to prevent bullying of those on the Autism Spectrum or with other special needs. It is also meant to provide resources to help those who have been bullied.
Format: This is a panel format that will talk about different areas of support. It is meant to be a free flowing question and discussion format.
Who is on the panel: The panel is made up of local educators, autism advocates, law enforcement and Autism Empowerment.
Handouts: Free materials from Pacer.org and a local resource guide will be provided.
