Where were you on May 18, 1980?
The Columbian is gathering the stories and photos of individuals and families whose lives were affected by the cataclysmic eruption of Mount St. Helens nearly 30 years ago.
Whether you had a narrow escape or viewed the eruption from afar, we'd like to share your story and a photo using the form below.
If you have a before-and-after photo to show either pre- or post-eruption views or how things have changed in the past 30 years, there's an option to do that, too.
Please include contact information to help us as we edit and assemble the stories to run on a special Web site being created for the anniversary. Also, please be sure to include information on where any photos were taken so we can place them on an interactive map.
