The map above shows how each county voted on Initiative 502 to legalize recreational use of marijuana. A dark shade of green indicates more than 60% of the voters approved of the measure while the darker yellow indicates more than 60% rejected it. The lighter shades of green and yellow indicate counties in which 40-49.9% voted for or against the use of pot, respectively. These results are not final and will be updated. The last update occurred at 11:26 pm, Nov. 6, 2012. All results were obtained from the Washington Secretary of State's office.
