The area between Northwest 38th Avenue and 47th Avenue stretching from Northwest 127th Avenue to McCann Road turned into something of a battleground Sunday night, according to 911 emergency logs.
Authorities received three reports of shots fired over a 10-minute stretch that began at 9:57 p.m.
One report detailed “rapid gun fire.” Another said “several rounds” were fired.
There was no report of any damage to property or injury to people. It is not uncommon for similar incidents to be reported in unincorporated areas of the county.
