EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Eugene police released a 22-second video from an incident in which an officer used a stun gun on a Chinese college student mistaken as a trespasser in his own apartment.

The footage was captured by a camera on officer Judd Warden’s Taser. The black-and-white footage reveals only what happened in the seconds after he stunned the 19-year-old University of Oregon student.

It shows the shirtless student falling back and rolling onto his left side with his arms crossed in front of his chest. Officers can be heard telling the student who doesn’t speak English to stay down and show his hands.

A city investigation is under way to determine whether Warden followed police department policy.
