n LIQUOR STORES: Most state-run stores open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.
n BANKS: Most closed today; some branches in supermarkets might be open.
n FINANCIAL MARKETS: New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and other markets open today.
n ANIMAL SHELTER: Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., open regular hours today: noon to 5:30 p.m. for pet adoptions and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for animal receiving and lost pet retrieval.
