Maple Tree: Lucia Bruening will celebrate her 100th birthday Dec. 1.
Bruening has one son, one grandson and six step-grandchildren.
She retired from social work in California and later moved to Clark County.
She has been married to John for 35 years. They have lived in Vancouver for the past 20 years.
The couple will celebrate her birthday with a quiet dinner.
