Police say a 20-year-old male shot late Thursday at an apartment complex at 2000 East Mill Plain Boulevard and at least one witness are being uncooperative.
Police did not identify the victim, who was transported to an area hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. He is listed in serious condition, according to police.
The report of shots fired at the Campus Park Apartments came in at 9:13 p.m. A suspect description was not available.
“The victim and witness are uncooperative,” Vancouver Police Sgt. Kathy McNicholas said this morning.
The man was shot in his face and torso.
Investigators from the Vancouver Police Department’s gang unit responded, but the case has not been ruled a gang-shooting.
