YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Yakima County sheriff’s deputies arrested an East Valley High School student Tuesday accused of threatening a shooting at the school.

The sheriff’s office says the threat was discovered in a chat room and reported by the online company.

The sheriff’s office says the 17-year-old admitted making the threat but said he had no intention to follow through. He was released to his parents.
