First Independent Bank has promoted Rob Davison to deputy chief credit officer and has hired Gary Ehrig as its special assets officer and senior vice president in the Vancouver bank’s Special Assets Division.
Davison, who joined First Indy in 2005, was formerly a senior credit administrator and played a key role in managing credit standards and working with bank staff and clients to resolve credit issues during the national financial crisis.
Ehrig recently joined First Indy from Memphis, Tenn.-based First Horizon National Corp., where he was senior vice president and Western regional manager for commercial real estate. Ehrig graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in finance and holds a Certified Mortgage Banker designation from Michigan State University’s Kellogg School of Business, as well as several professional certifications.
First Indy is Clark County’s second largest bank by market share.
