BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — UAB junior guard Elijah Millsap is entering the NBA draft.

Millsap said Friday he will not hire an agent and will be eligible to return for his final season if he withdraws his name by May 8.

The 6-foot-6, 215-pounder was a first-team All-Conference USA pick after leading the league with 9.5 rebounds a game. He ranked fifth in scoring with a 16.1-point average.

The brother of Utah Jazz player Paul Millsap recorded a school-record 17 double doubles. He also set UAB marks for total rebounds (324) and free throw attempts (236).
