SEATTLE (AP) — The Coast Guard says it held a cargo ship at anchor in Port Angeles because the master showed signs of intoxication.
The Coast Guard issued the ordered Wednesday after a routine inspection of the 587-foot Panamanian-flagged vessel, STX Daisy. It’s coming from Qingdao, China, to pick up timber at Olympia, in south Puget Sound.
The U.S. attorney’s office in Seattle is investigating.
