Alaska Airlines this week announced it will add a second nonstop flight between Portland and Hawaii.
Year-round, daily service to Honolulu begins Sept. 20 from Portland International Airport. The airline already flies between Portland and Kahului, Maui.

The new flights include Hawaiian-themed service featuring Mauna Loa macadamia nuts and a complimentary Mai Tai or a mixed fruit juice drink called POG, as well as meal options for $6.
