CORNELIUS, Ore. (AP) — The funeral was held Thursday for a 24-year-old man who died in the custody of Cornelius police.
The Oregonian reports friends remembered Daniel Joseph Barga for his sense of humor and fun-loving nature.
Police have said they believe Barga was under the influence of mushroom drugs Saturday when they responded to a disturbance. Officers used a stun gun and pepper spray to subdue Barga who stopped breathing.
A determination on the cause of death is awaiting autopsy tests.
