ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police arrested a Washington father and son after discovering more than 3 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in southern Oregon.

Sgt. Steve Mitchell of the Oregon State Police says a trooper found the marijuana in the trunk of a BMW he pulled over Sunday on Interstate 5 south of Ashland.

Mitchell says 56-year-old Richard Miller and 24-year-old Jonathan Miller, both of Kirkland, Wash., were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
