BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — A driver who struck and killed a pedestrian near Bellingham and then fled the scene pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide.
The Bellingham Herald reports 18-year-old Sean F. Crissy was sentenced Monday to four years in prison.
He killed 54-year-old Mark Christian who was out for a walk on New Year’s Day.
After Crissy was arrested, he told police he had been drinking and taking drugs at New Year’s Eve parties.
