NEW YORK (AP) — Stock futures are mixed, though Nasdaq futures are rising after strong earnings from Apple boosted the technology sector.

Dow Jones industrial average and Standard & Poor’s 500 futures are both modestly lower Wednesday.

With little economic data released early this week, investors have focused on earnings to drive trading. Better-than-expected results across many sectors has helped push stocks higher the past two days.

Apple Inc.’s earnings easily topped expectations thanks to record sales of iPhones.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 index futures is up 6.75, or 0.3 percent, at 2,031.00. Dow Jones industrial average futures are down 22, or 0.2 percent, at 11,052, while Standard & Poor’s 500 index futures are down 1.60, or 0.1 percent, at 1,203.80.
