SALEM, Ore. (AP) — When a man went up to a cashier at a Salem Walmart and demanded cash, the cashier said, “Let me talk to my manager.”
The man waited Wednesday morning while the cashier called the manager — and Salem police were called.
The Statesman Journal reports the man repeated his demand to the manager and was arrested.
The 55-year-old is jailed for investigation of robbery.
