MIAMI (AP) — Dwyane Wade appeared to injure his left leg in the fourth quarter of Miami’s 100-98 playoff loss to Boston on Friday night.
Wade missed a straightaway 3-pointer and television replays showed his left foot landing on Ray Allen’s right foot. Wade crumpled to the court, and wasn’t on the floor for the final play — a jumper by Paul Pierce at the buzzer that won the game for Boston and gave the Celtics a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference first-round series.
