HOQUIAM, Wash. (AP) — Thieves who took a Pepsi vending machine from a Hoquiam apartment complex made a a quick getaway — so quick the machine fell out of their pickup truck.
Officers found the Pepsi machine in the middle of the road Monday, about a block away from the apartment complex.
KBKW reports witnesses saw two men load the vending machine into the pickup. But they failed to secure their load before they sped away through landscaping and around a corner.
