The Green Mountain School District has narrowed its search for superintendent-principal to three. The finalists will be interviewed by school staff Friday and the school board Saturday. Candidates will be at a community meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Green Mountain School gymnasium, 13105 N.E. Grinnell Road.
The finalists are:
• Joseph “Joe” Jones, principal of Selah High School in Selah. He received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Central Washington University.
• Rick Larson, teacher and former director of curriculum for Evergreen Public Schools. He received his master’s of education degree from the University of Arizona and his bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University.
• Andie Webb, principal in the Knappa School District in Astoria, Ore. She received her master’s of education degree from Washington State University and is working on a doctorate of education degree.
The board plans to name the new superintendent-principal by mid-May.
