Tebow a big draw at Broncos training camp

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos have kicked off training camp without the negativity that surrounded them a year ago, when their two first-round draft picks were holdouts and the man wearing No. 15 was recalcitrant receiver Brandon Marshall.

With Marshall in Miami, it’s rookie quarterback Tim Tebow donning that number now, and his presence was a big reason the Broncos were expecting to have to turn away some fans Sunday morning.

The fire code prohibits more than 3,000 fans from filing into Dove Valley to watch the workouts from grassy knolls.

Last year, first-round picks Knowshon Moreno and Robert Ayers were holdouts when camp started. This year’s pair of first-rounders, Tebow and Demaryius Thomas, signed before camp began.
