PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — A person familiar with running back C.J. Spiller’s contract talks with the Buffalo Bills tells The Associated Press that the first-round draft pick has reached an agreement on a five-year deal with the team.

The contract includes just under $21 million in guaranteed money and could potentially be worth $37 million if the player meets all the incentives, the person said Friday morning. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bills have not announced the deal.

Spiller was selected ninth overall out of Clemson. The player is expected to arrive at training camp in suburban Rochester later in the day.

ESPN first reported the deal had been reached earlier in the day.
