Leonard, Phillips among injured players

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Cincinnati Bengals running back Brian Leonard and Dallas Cowboys tight end John Phillips are among several players injured Sunday night in the Hall of Fame game.

Leonard hurt his left foot late in the second quarter on a reception and was helped from the field. He will not return.

Phillips, who had four receptions for 60 yards, had his right knee examined after leaving in the first half and is not expected back in the game.

Also injured were Bengals veteran safety Chris Crocker (right ankle); Cowboys receiver-kick returner Titus Ryan (broken left thumb); Dallas tackle Alex Barron (sprained right ankle); and Cowboys tight end Kevin Brock (sprained left ankle). Barron and Brock are questionable to return.
