NEW YORK (AP) — Representatives from the NBA and the players’ association will return to the negotiating table later this week to resume talks toward a new collective bargaining agreement.

Commissioner David Stern said there would be a meeting during a conference call Monday to announce regular-season games in London next March between New Jersey and Toronto.

It will be the first session since the league’s All-Star weekend in February, when the players rejected the owners’ proposal for a deal to replace the one that expires June 30, 2011. The union recently submitted its own proposal.

The sides began discussions last year but remain far apart, with owners seeking significant changes to the system. That has created fears of a lockout next summer.
